Do you hold all the appropriate licences and permits to carry out your services?
Yes. Pet Wise Cremations is governed by a range of strict codes and permits for transport and cremation. We hold all the licences and permits to offer a full range of services to the general public issued by the local authority.
How much does a pet cremation cost?
This does vary, depending on the size of the pet, the casket selected and whether delivery and/or collection is required.
Do you offer a collection service?
Yes, we can collect your pet from home or any veterinary practice. All we need is a telephone call to make the arrangements, and we will handle the rest.
How do I know that the ashes returned to me are really those of my pet?
Your pet will be handled with respect, care and dignity at all times, and will be cremated on it’s own. Every pet that is entrusted to us for private cremation is cremated individually and the ashes carefully collected and returned to the owner, so that we can absolutely guarantee that the ashes returned to you are indeed those of your pet.
Do you cremate horses?
No, we have a modern cremator with a capacity that allows us to cremate up to only the largest domestic animals e.g. large dogs
Do you offer a pet cremation where the return of ashes is not required, and is it a reduced cost?
Yes, following a simple cremation, where no ashes are returned, we can send a certificate of cremation if requested.
Can I watch my pet being cremated?
We actively discourage owners who request this, it can obviously be very upsetting and certainly not the best image of parting with a loved one.
